He kept the bird until it had regained its health and then observed the appearance of crocked white lines across the black area in the owls eye. Von Peczely later became a physician and had the opportunity to study the irises of many patients. Unchangeable, murky poverty, that he couldn’t get Myrtle or himself out of. However, in WIlson’s delusion, he feels like there is a way he can make things right. He has to go and find Tom, who he believed to be driving the ‘â€Å"death car† and kill him to avenge Myrtle. Once he finds out someone else had been driving the car, he goes to find Gatsby. â€Å"A new world, material without being real, where poor ghosts, breathing dreams like air, drifted fortuitously about Like that ashen, fantastic figure gliding toward him through the amorphous trees.† (161) After Wilson shoots Gatsby, he also shoots himself because he feels like he has no other way to escape his life of hardship, and Nick describes his body as being â€Å"ashen† which invokes the image of the dull, grey valley where Wilson had lived. He didn’t belong in the fast paced life of the wealthy, and wouldn’t have been able to handle it  because of how weak minded he was. The poor were trapped in poverty, under the formidable ashes.

However, finding information that one would consider good or visually appealing seems a more difficult task. Many times web designers throw meaningless fluff onto the medium, not bothering to think about the cleanliness of the work or the aesthetic value of the overall creation. The World Wide Web holds more than just data, it holds images; images intertwined with the information to build a lasting image of the work. Web pages should convey an idea quickly and efficiently, either through good writing or visual aids, and should not confuse the user with misleading images and phrases. Also, web pages should not be bulky; that means that they should be small and direct, not embedded with huge images that would ordinarily tax even the speediest of data lines. The Cyberpunk home page, a personal page located at the URL http://www.cs.uidaho.edu/lal/cyberspace/cybe rpunk/cyberpunk.html, excels in its computational efficiency. In regards to the visual and informative aspects of the page, however, the Cyberpunk page falls short of perfection. The Cyberpunk home page is not commerical in nature. Some would argue that because it is not a commercial page, it should not be evalutated by the same criteria as a commercial page. Reorganization of the subheadings and some tightening of the text would benefit the work greatly, with some parts of the first page moved to subsequent pages with more elaboration. A new title image, conveying the harshness of the cyberpunk psyche, would be a good way to start off the page. Finally, some images of cyberpunk characters and fiction would brighten up the page while still gently prodding the user toward the information, which is the whole point of the World Wide Web.

Monarchy/Episcopalianism Government

The advantages of a Monarchy government are it only has one ruler. The government and the state are in high power and in a single person’s hands. These states are called a kingdom or empire. Another advantage is the power of the king or supreme magistrate has limitations by the constitution. It also gives less control to the ruler then despotism but also makes the population happier and more productive. The advantage of an Episcopalianism government is unity of structure, style and doctrine within church government. The disadvantage of a Monarchy is that you have more control over the people in your empire.Therefore, the production capabilities within the cities will be very limited. The disadvantage of Episcopalianism government is authority is given to an office not a person. (Acts 6:36), (Acts 14:23). Republicanism/ Presbyterianism Government The advantages of a Republicanism government are citizens can participate in government and give there opinions. It is also elements of all three forms of church governments in the New Testament. Death of a Salesman is a play that consists of a HISTORICAL background which is key to understanding the play. It was written in 1949, just a few years after the World War ll was over, meaning the United States, where the play occurs, was going through many changes. For example, the war caused an increase in industrial production markets and non-farming business. For the poorest Americans, however, the economic situation was not improved as America started having high inflation, causing problems for the poorest citizens to purchase the basics. Also, the government started to create policies which helped larger corporate farmers but not smaller farmers. Happy, a sales clerk and Biff, a farm worker, had the lowest-paid jobs in the country, leading them to some trouble in maintaining dignity in society. For Americans, dignity and pride were very important things. Due to their victories during the war, Americans felt proud and had a feeling of superiority over the world. This lead to the ir need of proving that capitalism was better than communism. Because of this, Americans felt responsible for protecting their nation from any influences from communist Soviet Union. This period of time where Americans felt the obligation to achieve financial success in order to show gratitude for the liberty they had as a democratic society and also to defeat the Soviets is now called the Cold War era. During this period of time, people like Willy relied too much on long-term credit to show they were financially successful and ended up having trouble in giving their families the basics. In the play, this Cold War attitude is shown by Willy’s preoccupation with his position in society and financial status. Willy’s worry also represents some of the SOCIAL context in the play as he fears not being accepted in society; he wants to be â€Å"well liked†. American society changed after WWll. Before, people were motivated by morals and rules but after the Cold War era started, Americans became motivated bywhat others thought of th em. Willy represents the people in American society who lost their identity due to their need to achieve social standards. This idea is reflected at the end of the play where Biff says that Willy â€Å"didn’t know who he was.† This social change may have been a cause of POLITICAL change because, as a result of The Great Depression, American government became more influential on citizens’ daily lives.  Because of this, and also due to an increase in media communication such as radio and television, Americans started to feel like they belonged to a large, connected society and along came a desire to be accepted by their peers in society. Miller also shows some of the CULTURAL background behind the play through three of his main characters: Willy, Ben and Biff as the three of them, similar to many Americans at the time, show they are eager to achieve â€Å"The American Dream†. Two versions of the American Dream are mentioned in the play. One is represented by Willy, focused mostly on money which was a way Americans found to show they had the â€Å"freedom and liberty† to purchase material goods.
